DBT Chronic Pain/Illness Skills Group
Do you struggle with: Anger, depression, anxiety, indecision, stress, guilt, lack of connection, or negative thinking, due a chronic pain or illness? DBT skills teach skills that can be used by individuals in your everyday life to regulate emotions and improve the way we tolerate our negative emotions and distress.
Other than physical complications of chronic illness, which may prevent you from participating in activities you once enjoyed, such a diagnosis can have a significant effect on your mental health. You might experience anxiety, shock, depression or other emotions and you might need to adjust to new routines to manage your care.
