Individual Services
Psychotherapy and Trauma-Focused Psychotherapy

Acceptance Commitment Therapy focuses (ACT) on accepting oneself and others and commitment to change and self-improvement. This therapy is based on patients making specific actions that concentrate on positive change and acceptance.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) a guided directive to process uncomfortable sensations related to specific phobias, depression, anxiety, and others.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) identifies how often negative thought patterns have a destructive impact on our emotions and behaviors. and affect our relationships with ourselves and others.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) provides clients with new skills to change behavioral patterns with an emphasis on problem-solving. Patients work on issues like quality of life problems, dealing with trauma, and improving self-esteem.

Motivational interviewing (MI) is a counseling method that helps people resolve ambivalent feelings and insecurities to find the internal motivation they need to change their behavior.

Utilization of eye movements to help change how traumatic memories are stored in our minds. ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) are psychotherapy approaches that enable people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress resulting from disturbing life experiences. They are an entire therapy model proven to be highly effective for those who have experienced trauma.

DBT-PE aims to help clients stop avoidance and instead confront trauma-related thoughts and situations so that trauma can be effectively processed. To do this, the DBT PE protocol uses two types of exposure; imaginal and in vivo.
Psychosocial Immigration Evaluations
I can assist individuals worried about their immigration issues through immigration evaluations for Asylum, Domestic Violence (VAWA), Cancellation of Removal, U-Visa, T-Visas, and Extreme Hardship waivers. I can work with your immigration lawyer or paralegal to provide these immigration evaluations to assist you in your immigration case. These psychosocial evaluations consist of 15-20 pages demonstrating the psychological, physical, financial, spiritual, and emotional impact of separating families through deportation or country re-location.
DBT Skills Group
DBT skills group is for clients or couples who would like to cope more effectively with intense emotions, addictive behaviors, and/or relationship struggles. DBT Skills are taught to reduce self-destructive behaviors and learn more adaptive ways to manage painful emotions by teaching patients a set of behavioral skills and strengthening their ability to use those skills in their everyday lives.
Wrap Group and Peer Services
Peer support services support facilitates personal growth, wellness promotion, and recovery while honoring one's strengths, needs, and personal choices. Peers have mutual understanding, provide direction and resources, help one to dig deeper
through the us of connection and empathy. Peer service provides a listening ear, and a strength based approach to help. you reach your wellness goals.
Peers also provide Wrap group services which is a wellness tool group that anyone can use to get well, stay well, and make their life more the way they want it to be.
