EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a psychotherapy that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences. It is an entire therapy model that has been proven to be highly effective for those who have experienced trauma.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy identifies how our often negative thought patterns have a destructive impact on our emotions and behaviors. and affect our relationships with ourselves and others.
Motivational interviewing is a counseling method that helps people resolve ambivalent feelings and insecurities to find the internal motivation they need to change their behavior.
DBT Skills Group
Do you struggle with: Anger, depression, anxiety, indecision, stress, guilt, lack of connection, or negative thinking? DBT skills teach skills that can be used by individuals in your everyday life to regulate emotions and improve the way we tolerate our negative emotions and distress.
It seeks to separate the problem from the person by externalizing issues of concern. The therapy ask you to describe your problems in narrative form, and then help you to rewrite the negative parts of the story.
