I am a military Veteran’s wife and transplant recipient passionate about providing quality mental health care. I initially started my journey into this profession by working with family members in the military, people in need of transplants, and victims of crime. It was then I started my pursuit to be able to provide better quality care and pursued my Masters degree in Psychology. After completing coursework in testing, assessment, and diagnosing, I wanted to do more to help teens and adults in the community.  To increase my knowledge and advocate more I decided to get additional education and earn a Masters of Social Work. Once I had this knowledge I wanted to serve better and received certifications in addiction, transgender dignity model, and training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy-PE, (DBT-PE), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT),  Motivational Interviewing (MI), Narrative Therapy (NT), and Relapse Prevention (RP). Much of my working experience has been helping teens and adults manage their chronic medical conditions, anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use.

As a Family Mediator, I come from a therapeutic background, having experience in the field of family and addiction issues for more than 15 years. Family mediation can be a difficult transition that requires a deep understanding of the therapeutic tools used in counseling, negotiation, and motivational interviewing. Because of this unique understanding, I offer a different approach to mediation, follow your lead to a self-determined agreement.

I am also a trainer and have been providing community education and training for over 15 years. I have served as a trainer for Adult Mental Health First Aid and am currently a facilitator for conflict resolution training with her sorority.  In addition,  I once was a Program Manager and Director and received intensive leadership training by the Women's Addiction Services Leadership Institute and Zeta Organization Leadership, which fostered her abilities to do community presentations on various subjects; including conflict resolution.

In short,  I’m deeply committed to being there when you need me most—helping you explore, heal, and move forward into a happy and healthy mindset and agreement. Get in touch to book a session or training with me today!
