My therapeutic style is person centered and trauma informed. I use an integrated approach. I use primarily CBT, DBT, CT-R, and Motivational Interviewing. I am currently incorporating IFS, EFT, and ACT. More importantly, I focus on building the therapeutic relationship for the patient to feel safe and heard. My clients would call my practice engaging, effective, and goal oriented. As their counselor, I could be described as compassionate, flexible, and understanding.

EMDR is my absolute passion, however I am also trained in other evidence based interventions, and get excited about working with a team who value multimodal care. As someone who believes strongly in bottom-up processing, I have found in my professional experience that integrating movement and other somatic practices in tandem with traditional Western care help humanize the healing process for clients and meet them where they are at. I believe my therapeutic style is best described as having a heavy hand in trauma-focused work guided through scaffolding Maslow’s hierarchy to empower clients to reach their own goals for treatment in a manner that takes into account their ecosystems strengths and challenges.

      About us

The practice specializes in treating individuals, couples and families, and through years of experience, I’m confident that no problem is too great to overcome.
