WHAT IF I MISS MY APPOINTMENT, OR NEED TO RESCHEDULE OR CANCEL?
To avoid missed appointments, I offer reminders via voice call, text, and/or email. If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, you can do so by phone at (904) 490-6974. Cancellations, no-shows, and rescheduled sessions without 24 hours' notice will be subject to a cancellation fee of $165 (individuals), $180 (couples), $50 (peer services), and $65 (group), and will be charged to your credit card on file. This is necessary because a time commitment is reserved exclusively for you, and without 24 hours’ notice, I am not able to reschedule this time for another client.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT MY FIRST VISIT?
Prior to your first appointment, you will receive initial documentation to complete via a secure web portal. If you are unable to complete this documentation electronically, you should plan to arrive around 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to do so in the office. Based on the information provided, you may be asked to complete additional paperwork or assessments.
Your first appointment will be a little different from our typical session. I will ask you a broad range of questions to understand your background and mental health history, identify your goals for counseling, explain your rights as a client, and answer any questions that you might have about the counseling process. This will provide an essential framework for our work together going forward
WHAT IF I CAN NOT AFFORD TO PAY?
If you are unable to pay the fees listed. I accept payment plans.
HOW LONG WILL THIS PROCESS TAKE?
It is individualized and based on your progress. The treatment length can last from 7 to 23 sessions. However, I do not rush your process.
